NFL 2020 Massillon Fantasy Football League Rules
These are the rules for our 2020 season. There are some special rules to handle scenarios where the season isn’t completed.
Draft rules
As usual, every team will be able to choose 3 keepers. Whatever round the player was drafted will be lost during this years draft. If two players were drafted in the same round, the earlier round is also lost (e.g. if you have two 3rd rounders, you will lose your 3rd and 2nd round picks). Only one first rounder may be kept.
If the season happens to be cancelled before we draft, we’ll just wait until next year to draft. Once the draft is completed, however, the rosters will be used going forward, whether or not there is a season.
League Dues and Payouts
Dues: $60 a person – due by WEEK 4
Payouts
| 1st Place | $350 |
| 2nd Place | $150 |
| 3rd Place | $75 |
| Weekly High Score (weeks 1-13) | $10 |
Special Rules Due to COVID
- League dues will not be due until week 4 of the season. Depending on how things play out, this might be pushed back further.
- If the season is stopped early and unable to finish, weekly high score will still be paid for all weeks that have been fully completed. All the rest of the money will be refunded.
- If the season is postponed but not cancelled, the fantasy league will still be completed whenever the NFL season resumes.
- The season must go at least 8 weeks in order for a champion to be named. If the season is shorter than 8 weeks, weekly high scores will be paid and the rest of the money will be refunded.
- If the season is cut short (but beyond 8 weeks), and YAHOO offers some different options on how to finish the season, majority vote will be used to determine how we will proceed. Any ties will be broken by the majority vote between Joe, James, and Jamie.
- In the case that the NFL season is not completed, rosters will be locked in at the time the season is officially cancelled.
